Our Mission

Time is the most valuable resource. We're here to help you make the most of it.

The Problem

Time‑Poor and Overwhelmed

43% of Canadian workers report high stress levels due to workload and family pressures. Busy professionals, parents, and students are stretched thin, overwhelmed with chores and errands that eat into precious family time and rest.

47% of Canadians live paycheque to paycheque, yet outsourcing smaller tasks is often cheaper than the cost of lost time. Convenience isn't a luxury—it's a necessity.

Time‑Rich and Underutilized

On the other side, 2.4M Canadians are already engaged in gig work, and participation is rising fast. Students, newcomers, and retirees have time to spare but limited ways to earn.

Most gig platforms require assets like a car for rideshare or specialized skills for freelancing. Millions with time to spare remain excluded from flexible earning opportunities.

Why Sokoro Exists Now

📈 Rising Cost of Living

1 in 6 Canadians have monthly spending exceeding income. People need flexible ways to earn, and time-saving solutions are no longer optional.

💼 Gig Economy Explosion

36% of Gen Z and Millennials already have side hustles. The gig economy is expected to surpass $873B globally by 2030.

⏰ Time Scarcity Crisis

People are increasingly willing to "buy back" their time. Food delivery and on-demand services continue to grow despite inflation.

🚫 Barriers to Entry

Unlike rideshare or specialized gig platforms, Sokoro requires no car, no property, no special skills—just time and willingness to help.
